Sustainability at Galapagos Safari Camp
Sustainability is at the heart of the management of Galapagos Safari Camp. Set on a 55-acre working cattle farm, this lodge serves hyper-local organic meat and produce. Additionally, throughout the camp specific sustainability measures are taken, like raised safari-style tents that have very minimal impact on the earth, biodegradable soaps and cleaners, a three-way water treatment system to avoid spreading pollutants, onsite rainwater collection and a solar-heated infinity pool for sustainable luxury. The lodge’s conservation efforts also extend out to the greater community with reforestation of local tree varieties, plots of land for crops given to all Galapagos Safari Camp employees and scholarships for local Galapagueno students to study on mainland Ecuador.
Common Areas at Galapagos Safari Camp

Arrayed in an arc on a hillside with views that stretch off towards the coast, seen from above the tents look like little canvas cocoons nestled into a vast natural sanctuary.
