Galapagos Sea Star is a spacious yacht cruising in the Galapagos Islands. Undergoing a renovation in 2025, we’ll update this page as soon as more details are available. Under her former operations, her spacious sun deck, with two Jacuzzis and an outdoor grill, was one of the largest in the archipelago.

The Galapagos Sea Star complies with local and international safety regulations and sustainable practices to protect the fragility of the Galapagos archipelago. An extensive renovation in 2017 remodeled every bathroom and added private balconies to the Main Deck cabins, enabling guests to experience the Galapagos Islands in a private setting. In 2015, she was outfitted with brand-new engines, offering less noise, smoother navigation, a speed improvement of 2 knots and better fuel efficiency. Under new operations in 2026, she’s getting refitted again in 2025.

Common Areas Aboard Galapagos Sea Star
The spacious yacht offers a large solarium with shaded and uncovered areas, two Jacuzzis and comfortable sun loungers. Social areas include a salon, library and video library and a play zone for kids (during family departures). Snorkeling equipment and eight twin sea kayaks are included aboard, as is a new glass-bottom boat.
Dining Aboard Galapagos Sea Star
Local and international dishes are specially designed by the onboard chef who utilizes novel culinary techniques with traditional South American flavors and textures, as well as farm-to-table products creating a unique and decadent dining experience. The Galapagos Sea Star’s chef has been studying with top Ecuador chefs to create authentic and high-quality dishes that represent the best Ecuador has to offer. Meals are served buffet style.
An outdoor grill may allow for a BBQ on deck, as well. An intimate private dining experience may be available for two on the back deck by first-come, first-serve reservation upon arrival on board (additional cost may apply). The well-stocked bar offers soft drinks, juices, beer, wine, premium liquors and cocktails. Coffee, tea and water are available anytime in the dining room. Specific food restrictions may be accommodated if notified prior to sailing.
Cabins & Deck Plan Aboard Galapagos Sea Star
M/Y Galapagos Sea Star features seven spacious Galapagos Suites and one Sea Star Suite, all equipped with panoramic windows; premium linens; and private bathrooms that feature biodegradable amenities, hot/cold water and air conditioning with independent controls. Choose between two twin beds or one faux king bed or connected suites for families with sofa beds for children. Triple occupancy for both adults and children can be accommodated on the Upper Deck.
