Leslie brings deep travel experience to the trips she plans, including nearly 5 years working in-country for travel agencies across Bolivia and Ecuador prior to joining AdventureSmith. Her travel resume has 5 continents, 22 countries and counting, and her professional resume includes a Latin American Studies degree.
Leslie has firsthand experience with a variety of wilderness lodges, plus 11 ships ranging in style and size, from 32-200 guests and from simple to trendsetting.
Leslie opens doors travelers don’t even know to knock on, by planning trips that don’t exist online. She uses local knowledge and connections to craft tailor-made itineraries, with themes including active adventure, accessible exploration, cultural exchange, off-the-beaten-path routes and more.

Personal Roots & Hobbies
Leslie credits her grandparents with instilling a yearning to explore new places. From a young age, Leslie went camping and took annual summer road trips with her family. To this day, she loves to drive to new and unknown areas, and sleep under the stars. Her home in Sacramento, California is an ideal jumping-off point. Outside of camping and road trips, Leslie enjoys wine and craft beer, alpine skiing at the resort and in the backcountry, practicing yoga and hiking.
