How the GTCF Uses AdventureSmith Traveler Donations

The GTCF is the conservation arm of IGTOA, the International Galapagos Tour Operators Association, for which our founder Todd Smith sits on the board. IGTOA is a nonprofit association of travel companies, conservation organizations and other groups who are dedicated to the complete and lasting protection of the Galapagos.

GTCF has contributed more than $600,000 to critical conservation initiatives in the Galápagos archipelago since 1997.

With the generous support of its member companies and thousands of travelers, IGTOA and its GTCF have contributed more than $600,000 to critical conservation initiatives in the Galápagos archipelago since 1997.

IGTOA and its focus on the battle against invasive species, poaching and illegal fishing while also supporting education and empowerment of local stewards as well as promoting the welfare, education and stewardship of visitors.
