Since joining AdventureSmith in 2024, Grace has developed and managed destination-driven content that translates firsthand expedition experience into clear, traveler-focused resources. Her work spans ship reviews, itinerary comparisons, website content, and campaign support, all grounded in real-world expertise and close collaboration with Adventure Specialists.

• Bachelor of Arts, Integrated Media & Strategic Communication, Boise State University: Emphasis in Media Production and Integrated Media.
• Florence University of the Arts, Study Abroad: Completed a internship and coursework in videography, photography, and French wines, honing visual storytelling and sense of place.
• Firsthand Travel Experience: Firsthand Travel: Drawing on experiences from 5 continents and 20+ countries, Grace specializes in small-ship, immersive, nature-forward adventures, most recently voyaging to Antarctica aboard the Magellan Explorer.

Personal Roots & Hobbies

Grace’s connection to the water began early. She spent many summers in Northern Michigan working as a sailing instructor, teaching young children maritime terminology, nautical fundamentals, and confidence on the water. Those early experiences continue to inform how she evaluates small vessels, communicates safety and ship operations, and understands life aboard expedition ships.

Her travel philosophy centers on experiencing a place rather than simply observing it, whether snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef, paragliding over the Swiss Alps, or kayaking in Ketchikan. She is inspired by slow, intentional exploration, wandering with a camera, sharing meals, taking long walks, and learning from locals.

Outside of travel and content creation, Grace works weekends as a ski race coach, helping young athletes build resilience, confidence, and a lifelong love of the outdoors.
