La Casa de la Abuela is located in the marvelous valley of the Caldera river, near the majestic mountains of Boquete, Panama. The hotel is over 1,500 feet above sea-level, with stunning views of the majestic Volcan Barú. Admire splendid views of the hills and the mountains or even spot a rainbow out your hotel window, main lobby or outside terrace. Located on the main street and within waking distance from shops, restaurants, bars and “El Pueblo” as the locals call downtown.

La Casa de la Abuela is a cozy hotel with just 18 rooms. “La Casa de la Abuela” translates to “Grandma’s House.” The family matriarch lived on these grounds and the hotel is named in her honor. The chicken coop was where the patio and terrace are today. This family is happy to share the magic of this place with their guests.
